SWP were thrilled to be commissioned to manufacture
and supply the major and vital components, enabling the 'The Forest
Ropes Course' to be built, designed by Creative Leisure. It consists
of a series of rope and timber 'pathways', linking a number of
platforms. Easily constructed it offers participants the chance to
work their way round a circuit approximately 2m off the ground. It
replicates some of the large forest trails found in Europe and
increasingly in the UK.
All participants are connected to a safety cable so that the activity
is completely safe and participants are monitored and assisted by
trained members of staff.
The basic trail consists of six platforms but this can be increased
along with the working height to create complex multi-level trails.
Ideal as a stand-alone feature in a town centre, exhibition / shopping
centres, events or as a permanent fixture in a leisure park, play
ground or farm activity centre.
