In February 2011, SWP carried out an annual safety
inspection to ensure the Safety and security of the actor's stunt
bridge also installed by SWP. In order to gain sufficient access we
abseiled down the tower to survey the rigging screws, bottom and sides
of the suspended rope bridge.
The bridge remains in good order for the forthcoming season, where a
pirate themed live action show will be performed, the first in the
parks history, featuring death defying acrobatics and swashbuckling
sword play, the Pirates of Skeleton Bay is an adventure for the whole
family.
