South West Play: Suppliers of Safety Netting providing risk reduction for
personnel working in height environments and third party protection against
falling debris, dust and equipment. Established with the increasing awareness of
a need for safety provision in the construction industry, the HSE maintain that:
"Provision must be made for equipment to prevent personnel from falling,
where such falls could take place. Situations where this applies include
carpentry, bricklaying, concreting, scaffolding and roof works, as well as tower
and chimney works with a fall height of more than 2m."
Where fall prevention is not present, the HSE can order that the site be closed
down IMMEDIATELY!
Safety nets protect workers on site; they prevent fatalities and serious
accident when working at height. In the majority of situations safety nets have
advantages over other forms of fall arrest. The UK Health & Safety Executive
regard nets as their preferred method of fall arrest when working at height.
We supply the highest quality safety solutions at sensible prices, enabling
workers to move freely around, working safely, quickly and effectively.
